At the Annual General Meeting on 3 May, Elise Brøchner joined the Board of Directors of Rieber & Søn ASA as a new representative for the shareholders.
Elise Brøchner succeeds Connie Astrup-Larsen who did not wish to stand for re-election.
Elise Brøchner, 41, is a Danish national. Until recently she was the personnel director (HR) for Orkla Media/Berlingske and now runs her own consultancy business. Previous employed by McKinsey and Carlsberg, Elise Brøchner has broad experience from the development and marketing of branded goods. In the last few years her activities have been more focused on the implementation of brand strategies within an HR context. From Orkla Media's acquisition of Berlingske she also has experience of the integration of Nordic organisations, with activities also in Poland.
Elise Brøchner has an MBA from Copenhagen Business School in 1991.
From among the employees, Idar Furø and Gunnvor Djønne have joined the Board as representatives for the employees. Idar Furø works in the accounting and finance department in Bergen, while Gunnvor Djønne heads Toro's external sales team.
Effective from 3 May, the Board is composed as follows:
