Nordic Business Report-December 5, 2006-Swedish car dealer Michelsens Bil AB changes ownership (C)1994-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com Newly established Swedish trading company Handelshuset Svebro AB announced on Monday evening (4 December) that it has acquired the car dealer Michelsens Bil AB. Michelsens Bil is one of southern Swedens largest car dealers. The company has operations in Ystad and Tomelilla, and sells and services Audi, Volkswagen and Skoda cars, as well as Scania trucks. Michelsens Bil has 61 employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK250m. Handelshuset Svebro said that it regards Michelsens Bil as a platform for expansion. No financial details were disclosed. The new company Handelshuset Svebro is owned by the entrepreneurs Christer Browall and Alf Svedulf. The company, which already owns KBM Miljoprodukter AB, will be based in Tomelilla. One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.49 Swedish kronor (SEK).
