Danish telecomms group TDC A/S said on Monday (12 September) that TDC Mobile was ready to launch its 3G network and would at the same time lower the price of data transmission significantly. TDC Mobile would open up its 3G network on 3 October, and business customers with mobile broadband PC cards would be the first to get access to the network. By mid-November residential customers would also be able to access the network. TDC Mobile is also reducing the prices of data transmission by half for all TDC Mobile customers. This price reduction applies to all data transmission both in the 3G and the GSM network.
