The Finnish-Swedish IT group TietoEnator Corporation said on Wednesday (28 June) that it has agreed to acquire 51% of the share capital of Polish company RTS Networks Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
The agreement gives TietoEnator an option to acquire the remaining 49% at a later date.
RTS Networks provides research and development services within the telecommunications sector. The company has 110 employees and 40 subcontractors, and reported net sales of EUR3.2m in 2005.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
