Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Monday (21 August) that it was acquiring the business of TOPAS Consulting GmbH in Germany.
The acquisition agreement includes 74 employees located in Dortmund and Mannheim, Germany.
The acquisition supports TietoEnator's capabilities in the energy sector by expanding its SAP knowledge and at the same time extending the customer base with important European utilities, according to the company.
The price of the acquisition is EUR7.3m.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.68 British pounds (GBP).
