Finnish IT security company SSH Communications Security Corporation said on Monday (27 March) that the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte) had selected SSH Tectia to ensure secure file transfer and secure system administration with centralised management functionality for its campus computer network. With nearly 300 servers and multiple networking environments, UNC Charlotte would rely on the SSH Tectia client/server solution to secure the data accessed by more than 20,700 students, 800 full-time faculty members and staff. UNC Charlotte would also deploy SSH Tectia Connector to enable secure application connectivity.
