Finnish ship power supplier and decentralised power generation systems provider Wartsila Corporation said on Friday (12 May) that it had sold 10 million B shares in the Swedish lock group Assa Abloy AB for some EUR150m.
Wartsila would record a capital gain of approximately EUR125m on this sale.
After the transaction Wartsila holds 2.0% of the total number of shares and 1.4% of the voting rights in Assa Abloy.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
