Finnish ship power supplier and decentralised power generation systems provider Wartsila Corporation said on Thursday (4 May) that it was investing in higher efficiency and capacity for engine assembly and testing.
This means an aggregate investment of some EUR48m in the Vaasa, Finland and Trieste, Italy Delivery Centres.
Two-thirds of the investment would be allocated to Vaasa and one-third to Trieste.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
