The Norwegian silicon alloys producer Fesil ASA announced on Friday (26 May) that it has acquired a 70% majority stake in the United Kingdom based ferro alloys, metals and minerals supplier Tennant Metallurgical Group Ltd.
Tennant Metallurgical Group, Fesil's distributor in the UK, has an annual turnover of some NOK400m.
One Norwegian krone (NOK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
