The Norwegian composite high pressure gas cylinders and storage systems provider Hexagon Composites ASA said on Thursday (28 September) that its subsidiary Raufoss Fuel Systems has received a contract for high pressure composite cylinders from Daimler Chrysler in Germany.
The cylinders will be used in the next generation passenger car model of Mercedes-Benz, Hexagon Composites said.
The manufacturing will take place at Hexagon Composite's subsidiary Ragasco in Raufoss, Norway.
No financial details were disclosed.
