The Swedish technical consulting group SWECO said on Friday (22 September) that its unit SWECO VIAK has won a EUR2.6m planning and design contract in Turkey.
The contract, awarded by the Eskisehir Water & Sewerage Administration General Directorate, covers planning and design, procurement and construction management for upgrading and enlargement of the existing wastewater treatment plant in Eskisehir, some 200 kilometres west of Ankara.
SWECO VIAK will carry out the project in cooperation with the Turkish consulting engineering company TEMPO.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.67 British pounds (GBP).
