The Swedish single-chip tunable lasers and transmitters developer Syntune AB said on Monday (18 October) that it has signed a partnership agreement with Japanese electronics distributor Altima Corporation.
The agreement makes Altima, a subsidiary of Macnica Inc, Syntune's exclusive distributor in Japan, already one of Syntune's largest markets.
Syntune develops tunable lasers for applications ranging from fibre-optic communications to sensor systems. The high-tech development company was established in 2003 and is based in Kista, Sweden.
