The Norwegian mineral fertilisers and agronomic solutions producer Yara International ASA announced on Wednesday (22 March) that it has agreed to increase its ownership interest in United Kingdom based micronutrients company Phosyn Plc. The ownership interest will be increased from the current 35% to 100%. Phosyn is a producer of foliar applied crop micronutrients and reported a turnover of approximately GBP30m in 2005. The company has two wholly-owned laboratories and 146 employees. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
