Swedish property group Akelius Fastigheter AB said on Wednesday (22 November) that its German subsidiary Akelius GmbH has made its first investments in the Hamburg property market.
The subsidiary acquired 222 apartments in the St Pauli district, as well as a property with 88 apartments in the Meiendorf district.
The financial details of the transactions were not disclosed.
Akelius Fastigheter, headquartered in Danderyd, Sweden, is one of Swedens largest privately held property owners. The company owns some 28,000 apartments from Haparanda in northern Sweden to Erlangen in Germany.
