Nordic Business Report-December 15, 2006-Bergman & Beving AB acquires Rogaland Jernvare (C)1994-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com Swedish industrial tools, consumables and components supplier Bergman & Beving AB said on Thursday (14 December) that it has concluded an agreement to acquire Rogaland Jernvare in Stavanger, one of Norways largest independent industrial resellers. The company said that the acquisition is an element of its growth strategy and the groups ambition to streamline the value chain for industrial consumables to Nordic industry. Rogaland Jernvares net revenues amount to over NOK160m per annum, with good profitability. After elimination of the Bergman & Beving Groups current sales to Rogaland Jernvare, the groups consolidated annual net revenues are expected to increase by approximately NOK155m. Closing is expected to take place at the end of December 2006. Bergman & Beving, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a supplier to the Nordic construction and industrial sectors and has annual net revenues of over SEK5bn.
