The Norwegian offshore exploration and production services provider Fred. Olsen Energy ASA issued its first quarter report on Friday (28 April), posting an operating profit (EBIT) of NOK267.8m, as compared to a loss of NOK27.0m in the first quarter of 2005.
Operating revenues amounted to NOK935.9m, up from NOK570.3m in the first quarter last year.
One Norwegian krone (NOK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
