(IFN) Kaupthing's FIH Erhvervsbank hires 35 analysts
Stockholm (IFN) -- Danish commercial bank FIH Erhvervsbank has hired 35 analysts and will recruit another 15 staff as part of the creation of its Capital Markets unit, a spokesman said on Thursday.
Iceland's Kaupthing Bank owns FIH Erhvervsbank.
The Capital Markets unit, which will concentrate on trading in securities and corporate finance, will compete with other main banks in Denmark, said Lars Johansen, spokesman for FIH Erhvervsbank.
"Aside from the 35 (people) we already have, we will hire another 15 in corporate finance," Johansen said.
Johansen said the unit's formation will widen the company's range of products and services.
