Norwegian Internet browsers developer Opera Software ASA said on Wednesday (10 May) that the Japanese game console manufacturer Nintendo Co Ltd had chosen the Opera browser for its new game console, Nintendo Wii.
Nintendo Wii is Opera's second deployment with Nintendo, following the announcement that it would provide the web browser for the Nintendo DS and DS Lite, a portable gaming system.
Wii is expected on the market later in 2006.
