The Swedish oil company Tethys Oil AB has awarded Polish drilling contractor Oil and Gas Exploration Company Cracow Ltd (Cracow) a contract for the drilling of an exploration well on the Danish onshore licence 1/02.
The value of the contract was not disclosed.
Tethys Oil is the operator of the licence with a 70% stake. Its partners are DONG R&P (20%) and Odin Energi A/S (10%).
