The Swedish industrial group Trelleborg Group announced on Tuesday (2 May) that it has completed the sale of its US subsidiary Goodall Rubber Company.
The business was sold to Pittsburgh-based Lewis-Goetz and Company Inc for approximately SEK205m.
The divestment is expected to result in a book capital loss of approximately SEK45m.
Goodall Rubber Company sells and distributes industrial supplies in the US and Canada. The company has over 400 employees and reported sales of SEK650m in 2005.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
